Mount Úlfarsfell is a popular hiking destination located in the outskirts of Reykjavik. The mountain is 296 meters high and offers stunning views of the city, the surrounding mountains, and the ocean. Hiking trails of varying difficulty levels are available, making it suitable for both experienced hikers and beginners.
One of the most popular routes is the circular trail that takes you around the mountain and provides excellent views of the city and the neighboring mountains. The trail is around 5 km long and takes approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete.
Mount Úlfarsfell is easily accessible, and it is recommended to visit during the summer months when the weather is warmer and daylight lasts longer. Visitors are advised to wear appropriate hiking gear and carry enough water and food supplies.
