The Botanical Garden is part of the University of Copenhagen. It is located near the neighborhood of Norrebro, just a short walk from the Nørreport metro and train station. It is open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM in summer and from 10 AM to 4 PM in winter.

The garden is divided into different sections, including a beautiful rose garden, a large greenhouse complex, a rock garden, and a medicinal plant garden. The Palm House, which was built in 1874, is the largest greenhouse in the garden and houses a wide variety of tropical plants.
